Templates No Longer Available

This section contains templates for written Microsoft office & the Windows OS.  This is a beta page so any selection in the near term will be limited. Templates include macros so you will need to enable macros if asked when opening the file.  This depends on your security setting. Templates designed on the latest version of Excel. Templates are available to members.

 

The programs are categorized in the sub menu above (Excel Web Query, SMF Add-in).

 

IMPORTANT: These templates extract data from various public websites. These templates will only work if these websites allow data extraction and/or do not change the structure of their site.  If there are changes to the site the template can usually be updated but there are no guarantees.  If this occurs please let me know at iiex@live.com  Stock financial downloads include most listings only on the USA stock exchanges.

Excel Web Query- These templates use the Excel Web Query to obtain data.  No add-ons required.  All templates are macro/VBA driven.

 

SMF Add-in- The Stock Market Functions (SMF) add-in was developed by Randy Harmelink. This add-in contains a number of user defined functions for EXCEL that can allow data to be extracted and/or retrieved from the web and placed directly into EXCEL cells or ranges.  The add-in is free and must be installed on the computer for the functions to work.
